Nothing. Our research is completely free and will remain free for all investors in the future. We are already working on adding additional free supporting features to our website. Sign up for our newsletter to hear about them as soon as they go live.
We focus on the fundamental analysis of companies, to fully understand a company's business model, the markets it's active in, its competitive quality (i.e. what does the company do better/worse than its peers and why) and market growth. Based on our findings we create meaningful research, build our comprehensive financial model and derive future growth, earnings power, cash flows, etc. which will eventually allow us to determine a fair value per share. We regularly review our estimates and make changes whenever necessary.
Once we initiate the coverage of a company, which usually happens in the form of a long note with 20-30 pages, we write regular updates. In these updates, we pick up any important newsflow (e.g. earnings releases, cross-reads from peers or the industry, ad-hoc announcements), explain it and derive the potential impact on our investment case.
Our research is freely available through the "Research" section on our website, dpa and Bloomberg and other partner platforms. Furthermore, we also condense the content of our research into a simple and understandable message, which can be accessed through our social media channels; Instagram and Twitter.
Currently our coverage comprises roughly 40 companies, mainly German small-caps with exciting equity stories. You can find a detailed overview here. Going forward, we plan to increase our coverage universe to more than 100 companies.
NuWays is a spin-off of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe's investment banking division (HAIB), which has been recognized as the leading player for German small- and mid-caps. Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe remains the majority shareholder of NuWays and HAIB its strategic partner for ECM transactions such as IPOs, capital increases, placements and share buybacks.
It is our mission to make a significant contribution to the democratization of the capital markets. To do so, we focus on re-defining access to capital markets-relevant information (free equity research for everyone) and to the capital markets themselves (easier, faster and more cost-effective way for small companies to list themselves on a stock exchange with access to all investors).
Our name underpins our mission. We want to break new ground in investment banking in terms of products/offerings (e.g. free and modern equity research for all investors), communication (research content condensed into a simple and understandable message, suitable for the respective target group, accessible through our social media channels). We want to set ourselves apart from dusty banks with sprawling bureaucracy, a love of processes, a strictly hierarchical structure and products that are conceived from the bank's point of view but its customers. In addition, we want to break new ground in the way growth companies are financed. Together with our strategic partner HAIB, we can offer smaller, but at the same time strongly growing companies, an easier, faster and more cost-effective way to list themselves on a stock exchange and provide them with access to all investors.
Besides providing best-in-class research, it is our goal to help companies to increase their investor outreach and visibility. Thanks to our unique access to investors, we are able to provide companies with the right investors (private and/or institutional) depending on their business model, size, free float and liquidity. The deeper and broader a company's shareholder base is, the less volatility and more liquidity its stock should experience. Find out more here.
